Cornerstone isn’t just a wrapper for Subversion’s command-line tools. Instead, a full version of Subversion (1.5.4 & 1.4.6) is actually baked into the application. This means that you don’t need to install Subversion on Tiger. And you can use the latest version of Subversion which ships with Cornerstone without worrying about upgrading your installation of Leopard.
In fact, Cornerstone includes not just Subversion client functionality, but also the administrative tools. As a result you can create and delete repositories without having to use the command-line.
